Some things are just meant to go together. Batman and Robin. Peanut butter and jelly. Captain and Tennille. And, last night, filming wrapped on the latest dream team to enter the pop culture lexicon: "Cowboys and Aliens."

At first glance, that may seem more like pickles and gravy, but "Cowboys and Aliens" is actually one of the most hotly anticipated films of 2011: directed by "Iron Man" mastermind Jon Favreau, it stars Hollywood heavyweights Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in a film whose title is awesomely self-explanatory.

The movie, which is an adaptation of a comic book by the same name (Favreau on a comic book movie? Reason no. 408 to see this film), has finally shot its last frame according to a series of tweets from Wilde and Favreau.

"Last day on Cowboys & Aliens!!! I cannot believe it," the "Tron: Legacy" hottie writes. "I'm really going to miss hovering over @Jon_Favreau's shoulder, eating his pickles and reading his tweets."

"Cold, wet, exhausted, and yet still so happy to be here working with my favorite director, and debater, @Jon_Favreau. I will miss this," Wilde said later, before following it up with an official wrap announcement.

"That's a WRAP on Cowboys & Aliens!!!!!!!!! Thank you to this amazing cast and crew! 82 days of phenomenally hard work. See it July 2011!!!"

That many days may sound like a long time, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the trial about to face every movie fan: there are still 302 days left until we can go see "Cowboys and Aliens."
